I’m Larry Hodes, franchisor, franchisee, and operator turned coach. After scaling Mugg & Bean from 25 to 100+ stores, I founded Grow Franchise & Retail to help leaders grow without chaos.

From Spur and Mike’s Kitchen to scaling Mugg & Bean and owning franchises myself, I’ve built and sold businesses and today, I run Arbour Café (without being stuck in daily operations) and guide leaders to scale with clarity and confidence.
Along the way, I’ve helped scale iconic brands:
- Helped launch Hard Rock Café Lagos
- Served as HR Director for Compass Group SA (600 sites, 6,500 staff)
